One of a Kine

Guar the rancher has suffered numerous cattle rustlings over the past years. Since Guar's ranch is not in the Hereford Kingdom proper, he receives no protection from the Hereford King against the rustlers. Now the rustlers have gone too far for they have taken the prize of the herd. Not any heifer this, but the most beautiful bull for leagues. The bull, which is closer to Guar's heart than his own wife Paddy, is being held for a 5000gp ransom by orc bandits. Guar has put out the call plus 1200gp to the brave and bold to bring back the bull. 

One of a Kine received received 8.0 overall game rating when first run, and has been run in the North Alabama and Atlanta chapters.

The story is simple; Baron Sogosee has died away from home and his will is locked in the castle. His heirs hire YOU to go in after it. You can keep any treasure you find but you must bring out the will. And be wary. For Baron Sogosee had a sick and twisted sense of humor when he was alive…. 

The purpose of this game is to have some fun with a dungeon crawl It is meant to be run in an indoor setting where props can be elaborate and the atmosphere intense.

Tunnels of the Toads

You will be going into the land of the enemy Toads, humanoids with no love for the warm-blooded. There you will try to retrieve some historical artifacts lost there decades ago. If the Toads catch you, they will try their best to kill you - and they are not the only enemy you will face. 

 This game is an introductory IFGS game for teams of 7 players (one experienced Loremaster, one experienced friend of the Loremaster, three full novices, and two NPC novices (i.e. - people who have only NPCed)). The game is a Land Of the Seven Tribes (LOST) game and will use the background lore published in the Denver/Boulder Chapter newsletter `The Melee' over 1990-91, but this lore is not necessary to the game. The PCs are encouraged to be Good or Neutral; strict Lawful types may have a problem with the scenario, Neutrals are fine, Chaotics and Evils are discouraged.

A bold team of adventurers is hired by the Council of the Seven to go into the western border of the realm (Westmarch) to find an ancient Jepali tomb. But the Jepali are not a people who take kindly to those who disturb their dead. And the borderlands are filled with strange and often hostile peoples, only tenuously under the control of the Crown. Sometimes under no control at all… 

 An 8 hour game requiring a rugged game course and substantial numbers of NPCs.
